Dr. Bancroft was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. Her father was an anesthesiologist, and her mom was a pharmacist, so she was familiar with health sciences from an early age. It wasn’t until she shadowed a few local dentists, however, that she considered the dental field as a possible career path. Dr. Bancroft was excited to start a career in a field that would allow her to work with her hands while improving patients’ health. She believes in the philosophy that there is a direct connection between oral and full-body health. Her objective is to get oral health optimal and maintain that so that patients feel their best.
Dr. Bancroft’s education and background are geared toward her desire to provide quality care to each patient. She received a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences and went on to graduate from SUNY Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Afterward, she went on to attend the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for one year as a General Practice Resident. Now, Dr. Bancroft is a member of the ADA, CDA, and San Diego County Dental Society.
Dr. Bancroft is passionate about improving her practice by attending continuing education courses and using the latest technology and high-quality materials. Dr. Bancroft loves to help educate her patients because she believes that understanding oral health is integral to maintaining it.
